Edinburgh City

I saw the vampire advancing towards me but the floor. One down meant there was only one left. I crouched down, hoping that the move I was planning on making didn't back fire and case me in earth for god knows how long. I touched the ground and willed it to surge towards the vamp.

OOC: is he even noticing what meridas doing?

BIC: I continued to shoot the vamoires head and chest

OOC: he does but when fighting he's often very focused. Emotions and reactions come later. Extreme focus mode!!!

BIC: I waited and the ground surged up the vampires legs rooting it to the floor. Slowly the ground moved up its body till it was completely covered. All that was left was a vampire statue. "You're a good fighter for your age" I complimented her.

I noticed she was holding something back, but said nothing about it "yea it's always good to be ready" I made it look like I hadn't noticed her not finishing her sentence. "So torren, are you going to stop hiding and come out. It's blindingly obvious where you're hiding." This was a lie, but I have always been a pretty good lier.

I watched them, hearing them. "no one can find me" I said, my voice echoing around the warehouse.

I stood there quietly

I focused on the air around me. She must be still in the warehouse to hear me. I smiled, no one was unfindable. I noticed a shift in the air and sent a fire ball sailing just over it. If she was using magic, I'd be able to see what was shadow and what wasn't, an if she wasn't I'd see her anyway.

Torren smiled as she was outside, running down the street and away from them (she left basically)

I looked at him. "what the hell happened?"

"What you mean to torren? And what happened just now" I turned to look her in the eye "I have no idea"

I nodded "You know of any people who hate you? It's a big coincidence that they just happened to be here" I didn't begin to think of the long list of people who might send vamps after me. Maybe my displeased client.

"Bear?" I asked. I had faced many enimies who scared me. Mainly vile. I hadn't faced him really. If just seen him close up. He had been towering above me, he could have killed me. He should have, but he turned and left for no reason. He had No mercy, and he'd spared me. I looked at her inquisitively.

"Never heard of him" I replied shrugging "sound pretty bad though"

"I'm not an adept" I replied "I don't know if it works the same, but ill try. I enjoy a challenge"

I stood up. "Well we better get moving" I went towards the door "do you know of a place I can stay? I didn't plan on it" I usually try and get back home as quickly as possible. I was safest there.

"I would say I'd heard of it. But I haven't" I replied "well lead the way" I gestured for her to lead on.

I nodded and led him to the manor, right on the edge of Glasgow. "here we are"

I looked up "reminds me of my childhood home" I mumbled "big, daunting and scary" I wasn't saying it was. But they were so structurally similar "not been there in years"

Merida smiled and led him inside. "so, shall we begin?" she asks smiling "I love dueling"

I laughed "first I want to see you summon fire." I said "you know of a brick wall nowhere near anything easy to set on fire and preferably a load of water"
